Barbara M. Jaeger, MD
Dr. Jaeger's Story
Dr. Jaeger is a graduate of the University of Colorado, Boulder, Colorado, as well as holds a master degree from the University of Maryland, College Park, Maryland. She completed medical school at the University of Florida College of Medicine, Gainesville, Florida. Dr. Jaeger served her residency at University of Maryland Medical System, Baltimore, Maryland, where she also completed a fellowship in Women’s Imaging and in Body Cross-Sectional Imaging. In 1999, Dr. Jaeger was awarded the Roentgen Resident/Fellow Research Award from the Radiological Society of North America. She has published many research articles as well as a book chapter in the area of Women’s Imaging. She was named a Health Care Hero by the Maryland Daily Record, and a Top Doctor in Women’s Imaging by Baltimore Magazine. In 2009, Dr. Jaeger won the Patient’s Choice Award as the Medical Director of Women’s Imaging for American Radiology Associates, PA. Prior to joining Radiology Associates in 2015, Dr. Jaeger was the Women’s Imaging Radiology Residency Section Chief at Florida Hospital GME where she also served on the faculty at FSU College of Medicine. She was awarded the Faculty Mentor award by the radiology residents at Florida Hospital. Dr. Jaeger continues to hold her teaching position at FSU College of Medicine. Her special interest is Women’s Imaging.
