Scheduler
Job description
Our practice is searching for Full Time Medical Scheduler. The hours for this position are Monday-Friday, 8:30a-5:30p with an hour lunch. Due to the nature of this position, previous medical experience is preferred. This is a fast past position in a call center environment. The position involves answering incoming calls, making outgoing calls and working with fellow employees and other departments to schedule patients for imaging exams.
Requirements:
-Must be able to type 35 wpm
-Must have excellent customer service skills
-Must have a track record of being dependable and on time
-Previous medical experience is highly preferred.
-Previous radiology experience is STRONGLY preferred

We are looking for an Accounting Assistant to perform daily accounting tasks that will support our financial team with a focus on accounts receivable and billing. This FULL TIME position is daytime hours, Monday-Friday.

EDUCATION:

Radiologic Technologist/Diagnostic Assistant
JOB TITLE: Radiologic Technologist/Diagnostic Assistant
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Diagnostic Assistant:
– Ensures all appropriate paperwork, including any previous exams and reports, have been received prior to putting an exam online to be read.
– Performs secretarial/clerical duties including checking phones messages, sending, and receiving faxes and taking calls for Radiologists.
– Monitor progress of dictations, ensuring exams have been read within the designated time frame.
– Accurately relay exams readings to the ordering physician(s) in a timely manner.
– Demonstrates knowledge of Radiologists call-schedule and monthly schedule for appropriate designation of exams.
– Identifies source of technical issues and contacts the appropriate person or department for resolution in a timely manner.
– Performs all other duties as assigned
Technologist:
– Ability to cross train in fluoroscopy, DEXA, and diagnostic x-ray.
– Prepares patients for radiologic procedures, performs radiographs according to established policies and procedures.
– Correlates clinical history with the diagnostic study performed.
– Uses radiation protection and shielding materials in accordance with prescribed radiation safety standards.
– Completes necessary paperwork (wet read slips, obtaining previous exam reports) related to the exam performed.
– Identifies source of technical issues and contacts the appropriate person or department for resolution in a timely manner.
– Assists in technical training of students.
– Performs all other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION:

Minimum of one year experience and/or training in radiologic technology program.
KNOWLEDGE:

Nuclear Medicine/PET Technologist
The hours for this position are Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm
Job Functions:
Coordinates patient exams to maintain workflow.
Assists in scheduling patient exams
Order, prepares and administers radiopharmaceuticals for diagnostic imaging procedures.
Acquires and processes diagnostic imaging procedure records radiopharmaceutical administration to patients. Records patient history and information pertinent to the exam.
Receives and records appropriate information regarding receipt and disposal of radioactive materials and pharmaceuticals.
Requests and coordinates all necessary patient information including medical history, physician orders, and insurance authorization.
Performs and documents quality assurance procedures on the equipment in a timely manner as defined by the State and in the procedure manual.
Ensures compliance with the radioactive materials licensure requirements and maintains adequate documentation for inspection by the State and/or Physicist.
Education: Graduate of an AMA approved school of nuclear medicine technology.
Experience: Minimum one year experience in nuclear medicine. PET registry not required upon hire but will be required to be obtained after employment.
Requirements: Registered by either the ARRT or NMTCB and state license
KNOWLEDGE:
Knowledge of nuclear medicine/PET CT technical principles and procedures.

JOB TITLE: Medical Transcriptionist-In Office Only
GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES:
Responsible for editing transcription of patient reports using voice recognition software.
SUPERVISED BY: Transcription supervisor.
SUPERVISES: Not applicable.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Edits dictation of patient records in a timely manner with a high degree of accuracy using voice recognition software.
Verifies patient and referring physician information.
Recognizes interprets, and evaluates inconsistencies, discrepancies and inaccuracies in medical dictation. Clarifies any of these discrepancies with radiologist or supervisor.
Meets quality and productivity standards established by employer.
Organizes and prioritizes assigned work.
Faxes required reports and all wet readings.
Performs all other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION:
High school degree or equivalent.
EXPERIENCE:
Prefer a minimum of two years of medical transcription experience, preferably in a medical practice environment.
KNOWLEDGE:

Practices sterile technique and prevents cross contamination.
Ensures equipment is in working order and reports equipment malfunctions to supervisor.
Maintains ethical relationships with patients and staff.
Participate in film critiques and assist in maintaining quality control of radiographs.
Assists in performing first aid and emergency care as necessary.
Assists in keeping department neat, orderly, and stocked with supplies at all times.

Full Time Medical Assistant
Job description
We are looking for a FULL TIME Certified Medical Assistant that has the flexibility to work a rotating schedule.
- On call for one week a month. Call is Monday – Sunday. Monday- Friday the MA is on call from 11pm – 6am and Saturday and Sunday they are on call 24 hrs. a day.
We offer competitive salary and benefits! Shift differential is paid for weekend hours and hours after 6pm on the weekdays. We also offer additional pay for holiday and call.
Responsibilities and Duties
Preparation of patients for their respective examinations.
Reads patient notes and follows patient safety screening instructions.
Forwards the patient to appropriate personnel concerning questions about procedures.
Dressing of patient appropriately for their procedures.
Completion of patient paperwork.
Assist technologists with moving and lifting of patients, assisting patients to the restroom, and any other patient care duties as needed.
Stocking and organization of all work area, to include scan rooms, patient holding areas, storerooms, etc.

Mammography Technologist
Job description
Our Women’s Imaging department is looking for a full time Registered Mammographer. Applicants must have availability to work Monday-Friday, 10AM-6PM and some Saturday’s. Applicant must be certified in mammography. Tomosynthesis certification is preferred but can be obtained upon hire.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Assumes responsibility for designated work areas and equipment.
Correlates clinical history with examination to be performed in order to obtain diagnostic results.
Familiarity with clerical procedures in mammography concerning requisitions, charges, codes, and scheduling.
Communicate effectively and cooperate with other staff members and radiologist.
Follows safety standards and uses radiation protection when operating radiologic equipment.
Ability to deal effectively with patients and referring clinician’s offices.
Proficient in all facets of mammography, including surgical and special procedures.
EDUCATION:
High school degree or equivalent. Completion of accredited course in Radiologic Technology and maintain current Florida HRS licensure.
