Clinical Data Retrieval Assistant

Monday-Friday 8-5, one Saturday a month, occasional evening or overnight.

POSITION: Clinical Data Retrieval Assistant

GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES:

Responsible for gathering Protected Health Information (PHI) to aide departments in complete exam submission for timely reporting. Responsible for carrying out all duties related to processing incoming PHI and ensures that all necessary patient data is coordinated thoroughly, accurately and expeditiously. Provides customer service satisfaction to both internal and external customers. Prepares document and studies in RIS and PACS to support Radiologists.

EXPERIENCE – Skills Required:

Minimum of one year work experience in a medical office setting. Computer experience in Radiology/Imaging facility preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft Windows, Medical Record Information Systems and PACS related to patient data entry & PHI storage. Exceptional verbal and written communications skills with emphasis on accuracy of patient health information, documentation and storage.

Help Desk Analyst

Job description

JOB TITLE: Help Desk Analyst

GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES:

Responsible for providing first-line support service to users of clinical and information services of Radiology Associates of Tallahassee. This includes assistance with access to e-mail, clinical information systems such as RIS/Dictation/PACS while also gathering all information pertinent to assisting users with access and requests for resources. Position will help triage accessibility issues and user related problems to appropriate technical staff for further evaluation; will also log, coordinate and track requests for assistance related to RAIS-supported systems and act as a primary user contact for Patient Portal assistance.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Perform general assistance with general user account access and assist with network problem analysis and monitoring tasks for the RAIS help desk.

Provide updates to users of the status of RAIS systems and respond appropriately to user requests and problems.

Perform initial problem analysis and hand off to technical staff when appropriate.

Act as a liaison with network users and technical staff to communicate the status of problem resolution to end users.

Log and track requests for assistance related to RAIS-supported systems; gather all pertinent issue information and log appropriate demographic data related to each request.

Compile data and prepare reports setting forth progress, adverse trends and appropriate recommendations based on information from the Call Management Tracking System.

Participate in the preparation of procedure manuals and documentation for help desk use.

Conduct periodic user satisfaction surveys and track user problem trends; make recommendations for improvements to the network systems and create reports based on information provided from user surveys and trends.

Participate in the distribution of network related information to users to include information such as helpdesk procedures and support materials.

Assist in the development of a comprehensive training plan for help desk procedures; assist in training personnel providing backup coverage.

Assist in on-site installations of network systems for users.

Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein.

EDUCATION:

High school diploma.

EXPERIENCE:

Previous call center experience.

Minimum of two years experience with Help Desk functions related to wide variety of computer software and hardware, preferably in health care setting.

KNOWLEDGE:

Working knowledge of operating systems, word processing, spreadsheets, databases, hardware and peripherals and 10-key touch.

Knowledge of how to operate and trouble-shoot computer equipment for quick diagnosis in the event of escalating to next level of support staff.

Knowledge of customer services concepts.

SKILL / ABILITIES:

Organizational and the ability to muti-task.

Skill to diagnose and problem-solve.

Ability to communicate effectively in user-friendly terms verbally and in writing; since most portal assistance calls are received via the telephone or email, this person must have great telephone presentation and demonstrate good written skill for email communication.

Communication must always be courteous but yet direct with the ‘customer’ to instill confidence and assurance that their issue or request will be handled appropriately.

Ability to be a team player with effective interpersonal skills.

Ability to solve problems and work independently; the ability to remain calm with dealing with frustrated or irrational customers.

Front Office Assistant

Job description

JOB TITLE: Front Office Assistant

GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES:

Responsible for greeting patients, providing intake information and checking patients in and out.

SUPERVISED BY: WIC Supervisor

SUPERVISES: None.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Greets patients in polite, prompt, and helpful manner. Provides any necessary instructions/directions. Informs appropriate department of patient’s arrival.

Completes necessary paperwork and uses computer system to generate information necessary for billing and scanning by technologist.

Updates patient information, collects co-pays, provides any necessary forms that need to be completed, and obtains signatures as necessary.

Maintains clean, orderly waiting area, hallway, and dressing rooms.

Answers phones in pleasant manner and deals with patient needs expeditiously. Takes accurate messages and relays necessary messages to staff.

Schedules patient appointments as necessary.

Assists patients in preparation for study by dressing appropriately and providing assistance as needed.

Files patient orders as necessary.

Assist in other areas as needed and perform other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION:

High school degree or equivalent.

EXPERIENCE:

Minimum of one year work experience, preferably in a medical office setting. Knowledge of medical terminology desirable. Computer experience required.

Job description

Responsible for performing sonographic procedures to assist in the diagnosis of disease.

Scheduler

Job description

Our practice is searching for Full Time Medical Scheduler. The hours for this position are Monday-Friday, 8:30a-5:30p with an hour lunch. Due to the nature of this position, previous medical experience is preferred. This is a fast past position in a call center environment. The position involves answering incoming calls, making outgoing calls and working with fellow employees and other departments to schedule patients for imaging exams.

Sonographer with breast experience

This position is typically Monday-Friday with an 8 hour shift between the hours of 7a-5p. Occasional Saturdays may be required. This position rotates between breast ultrasound and general with the majority of the work done in breast.

Saturday only PRN CT Tech

This position is a Saturday only PRN position. The Saturday shift is typically from 7am-3pm but might vary slightly.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Know and understand how to work all aspects of CT scanners and PACS system.

Read patient history forms to determine exam protocol and contraindications and assure that radiologist has proper history to assist in making a diagnosis. Confirm that all paperwork has been properly filled out and signed.

Keep Medical Assistants informed of any changes in normal procedures and when running behind schedule.

Assist front desk personnel with scheduling and help answer questions and concerns they may have when necessary.

Assist Medical Assistants when necessary with patient prep and setup. Perform IV access on CT patients and assure that the informed consent form for IV contrast has been properly filled out and signed.

Organization of CT patient workload.

Answer all questions and assist with concerns that the patient may have prior to, during, and/or after the CT Scan.

Explain procedures to patients in a clear and precise manner to guarantee the understanding of the CT procedure that they are having performed.

Have ability to call and inform CT service department of problems and arrange service calls and preventative maintenance.

Accurately record patient information on CT ledger.

Monitor patient’s vital signs during scanning when necessary.

Assists in technical training of new CT technologists.

Performs all other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION:

High school degree or equivalent. Completion of accredited course in radiologic technology and maintain current Florida Department of Health Bureau of Radiation Control Certification. Current certification with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Current certification in CT. Must maintain ongoing continuing education requirements. Current CPR certification.

EXPERIENCE:

Prior experience preferred.

JOB TITLE: Staff Accountant

OVERVIEW:

Staff Accountant is responsible for assisting the accounting department with maintaining accurate and timely financial records for the Company. Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations, financial reporting as well as daily financial entries and reconciliations. Position is also responsible for assisting with daily billing functions, including patient inquiries and other accounting duties as needed.
